Jérôme Laurendeau grew up in the countryside of Quebec, Canada before moving to Montréal when he was 17 to study architecture. Having a growing interest for objects and their impact on people’s everyday life, he decided to follow his studies with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial design from the University of Montreal, during which he also studied at IED in Barcelona for a few months. Learning more and more about materials and processes, he developed an ever growing passion for crasftmanship and objects with with a refine balance of functionality and artistic sensibility. He then decides to complete his education with a Masters degree in design for luxury and craftsmanship at Écal in Switzerland. He now works for a creative agency in New York City, in addition to having his own practice.
